By signing up for a trip and making your deposit, you are agreeing to all of our Terms and Conditions. Please read them here.

We would hate to see you lose out in the event you must cancel your trip. We STRONGLY recommend that you acquire CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing and you will be refunded as follows:

  • Initial $800 deposit and processing fee are NON REFUNDABLE.
  • There is a $100 cancellation fee will be charged.
  • 100% refund, if cancel more than 90 days before tour start-date. 
  • 0% refund of any amounts paid, if cancel within 90 days before tour start-date.
  • Certain trips require that we modify our cancellation policy due to their unique nature. 
  • When possible, and at our complete and sole discretion, a portion of your nonrefundable payments may be applied to a future trip in the event you cancel your trip. (Please do not assume that this is possible, however we do our best to apply some portion of nonrefundable payments for a future trip. You must use any credited payments within 12 months from the date of your written request to cancel your trip. If that credit is not used within that twelve month period, all amounts will be forfeited and you will not receive a credit or a refund).
  • If you pay by credit/debit card, any refundable amounts will be refunded to your credit/debit card within 90 days of the date of your written request to cancel.
  • If you pay by cashier's check, money order or bank transfer, any refundable amounts will be mailed to you by check. You must cash your refund check within 90 days of mailing, otherwise we will stop payment and you will no longer receive a cash refund. We will credit you for any amounts paid to us for a future trip, however you must use that credit within twelve months from the date of the written cancellation notice/request. If that credit is not used within that twelve month period, all amounts will be forfeited and you will not receive a credit or a refund.
  • Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out on this page, as well as our long form Terms and Conditionspage, such as not signing and returning our Health and Liability Waiver or a copy of your passport within the stated time frames, will result in the forfeiture of any refund amount. When possible and at Knowing the Way Travel's sole discretion, we may credit any amounts paid to a future trip within 12 months from the start date of the original tour.

  • All prices listed are PER PERSON based on double occupancy. 

  • Single room accommodations require an additional fee.
  • Prices do NOT include airfare unless otherwise stated.
  • Please see specific program information for what is included in the price. We are happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to ask us!


  • At the time of registration, you will be required to pay a $800 deposit and a processing fee of 5.5%. This deposit and processing fee are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Final payment by cashiers check or money order eliminates further 5.5%
  • The balance of the amount due may be paid via credit/debit card online, cashier's check or money order by mail, or bank transfer.
  • A processing fee of 5.5% will be charged on all credit/debit card payments (other than the initial $800 deposit).
  •  Your remaining balance must be paid-in-full 90 days before your tour start-date.
  • If we have not received your remaining balance within 90 days of the start-date of your tour, we may AUTOMATICALLY charge your on-file credit card for any amounts due.
  • Certain trips require payment-in-full sooner than our normal time frames due to their unique nature.
